Ansa
Back, feet, face and head massage
Ansa focuses on the areas where tension builds up most: the back and shoulders, then the feet, face and scalp. The firmer work reaches deep into the knots.
In one hour, it brings deep and lasting relaxation. It is a lovely way in if you are new to Ayurvedic massage, or a bridge between two Abhyanga sessions.
Shiroabhyanga
Head, face and neck massage
Shiro means “head”. This treatment works on the scalp, face, neck and shoulders, home to more than 40 of the body's 107 marmas.
Gentle pressure and smoothing strokes release tension held in the jaw and forehead and improve oxygenation. You come out with a clear, calm mind, often with a real sense of lightness.
Kansu
Foot massage with a copper bowl
The kansu bowl is made of a copper-based metal alloy. After a foot massage with oil or ghee, it glides in steady circles over the soles of the feet.
This short treatment is known for its very calming effect: it helps ease nervousness, restlessness and anger, and prepares you for restorative sleep. It also rests the eyes, often tired from screens.
Terre-Ciel massage
Head and feet, fully clothed
This massage links “earth and sky” by working on both ends of the body: the feet, rooted in the ground, and the head. It is done fully clothed.
Through foot reflexology, it acts on the whole body, rebalances the energies and releases stress. An excellent option if you are not comfortable with an oil massage of the body.
